32 mm badge template and button badge size

A 32 mm badge template is the button badge template for the smallest common pin-back circle. Abhishek Design Studio draws that circle with a safe zone and bleed, then exports an A4 PDF.

The die cut is 44 mm. The bleed is 6 mm on each side, from the 32 mm face out to the die cut. The safe margin is 1.5 mm inside the face, so names and faces stay inside the 29 mm safe zone.

Bad example
Asha Die cut 44 mm Face 32 mm Safe 29 mm

Bad example. The name is cut off because it crosses the 29 mm safe zone. The colour stops at the finished face, so the bleed prints white.

Good example. The name is kept inside the 29 mm safe zone. The colour runs across the bleed to the 44 mm die cut.

32 mm badge template on A4

Print the 32 mm badge template on A4 at 100% scale. Fit to page shrinks the circles so they miss the die. The shop file is the Corel download for the same size.

How to design a 32 mm badge

  1. Open Design Studio and choose the 32 mm circle.
  2. Use a short word or a mark. A 32 mm circle cannot hold a long name and a photo.

Common print problems

  • The circles are too small on the sheet. The printer scaled the page. Choose 100% scale.
